Ingredients of Crispy yam chips
- Prepare 500 g of Yam.
- You need 2 cups of dry potato flakes.
- Prepare 1 cup of all purpose flour.
- It's 1 tablespoon of ginger and garlic powder.
- It's 1 tablespoon of seasoning salt.
- It's 1 tablespoon of ground Black pepper.
- You need 2 tablespoons of tomato ketchup.
- It's 2 cups of vegetable oil (for frying).

Crispy yam chips instructions
- Peel, wash and cut yam into long chunks. After cutting, leave in a bowl of cold water.
- In a medium bowl, combine the potato flakes, flour, ginger and garlic powder, seasoning salt and black pepper.
- In a deep fryer(or frying pan) heat up your vegetable oil.
- Dredge fish fillets in dry mixture and fry in the hot oil for 4-5minutes or till the yam flakes apart easily.
- Remove from oil and place on paper towels to absorb excess oil.
- Serve warm with the tomato ketchup & enjoy👌.
